Danica Brustkern is an associate in LGC’s San Diego office. She earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego in 2015 and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Washington in 2012. While in law school, Ms. Brustkern externed at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, participated in the USD Alumni Moot Court Competition, and served on the executive board of USD’s chapter of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society.
Ms. Brustkern also won the 2015 American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust & Estate Law writing competition for her paper titled With Great Power Comes Great Culpability: Addressing Agency Costs in Durable Powers of Attorney. Her work has been accepted for publication in the ABA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Journal.
