Melissa Mixer is a second-generation native San Diegan and is an associate in the firm’s San Diego office. Her practice focuses mainly on insurance coverage and litigation, including the defense of insurance bad faith, personal injury, premises liability and construction defect cases. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Ms. Mixer’s practice concentrated on insurance coverage and bad faith defense litigation as an associate attorney at a boutique litigation firm in San Diego.
Ms. Mixer received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and earned her B.A. in Government from Smith College in Northampton, MA. Ms. Mixer is admitted to the California State Bar and to the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Central and Northern Districts of California.
